Since it was founded by Philip Zlotorynski and Chad Rogers in 1995, Neptune Pictures has explored many film genres: Drama, Horror, Comedy, Romance, and even a period-piece adaptation of a classic novel. One of its newest developments will encompass yet another: the biographical drama about the true-life historical figure, Horatio Nelson.

While not widely known to Americans, Lord Nelson is easily as recognizable to the British as George Washington is to the United States. So who was this man? Why is he remembered? And why is an American, born and raised in Los Angeles, so obsessed with bringing this figure to life on the big screen? Neptune Pictures sits down with its own Chad Rogers to find out why he is writing NELSON, why it is so personal to him, and why he feels it is crucial for the world to know the story.
